NYC

Years ago I had a blog and met some wonderful people. I'm actually still friends with those I met 6 to 7 years ago. Blogging surely has evolved since the last time I used one but I thought I'd start a new one for a way for me to organize my pictures online. I also love the idea that I can make this a personal journal that I can share with friends. I love Instagram and Facebook for keeping in touch but I don't like clogging friend's news feeds and Instagram you don't have much room to write (especially in detail). So at least this way I can share with everyone and write as much as I want for those who want to read and come visit me here.

Again, this is a way to organize our trips and personal events. I have posted these pictures on my Facebook but I come across people that are not Facebook friends. Sometimes we discuss traveling and I want to share my pictures but do not find our relationship intimate enough to have as a Facebook friend. With that being said, you might see pictures I've already posted on Instagram and Facebook in the first few posts.

Here are our pictures from our trip to NYC this past December. I can't believe it was nearly two months ago. It feels as though we've only been back a few weeks. This new year is surely flying by quickly.

The Big Apple is magical during the holidays. I remember being a little girl and watching Christmas movies and imagining what it must be like to walk the white powdered streets, to stop and gaze into the window displays, and sip hot chocolate at Rockefeller Center.

I had previously been to NYC but never during the holidays. This past summer I decided that I wanted to see it all lit up and decorated for Christmas. It has been on my bucket list of things I wanted to see so I booked us a room and airfare. I must admit that I was not disappointed. It was an experience that I hope everyone has a chance to partake in.

Watching the Rockettes at the infamous Radio City really set the "stage" for a festive mood. By the time we walked out of Radio City we were ready to be greeted by Santa himself. Those girls are very talented and I only wish I had a pair of stems like theirs.

Here are a few pictures of the window displays. The Christmas window displays are my favorite thing to see in NYC during the holidays. Wow!!! The designers who put these impressive displays together should get an award. Very talented indeed.

We had such an amazing trip and we have fantastic memories of our holiday there. I have almost too many memories to post.
